Severe contact dermatitis caused by make up led to my sensitisation to toothpaste ingredients. 

While researching a toothpaste I could safely use, I realised that all toothpastes on the market (including those claiming to be natural, vegan and organic), contained the same chemicals I was allergic to.

​It was through this experience that Monkey + Moon was born, partly out of my own genuine need for a toothpaste which I could safely use, and partly out of my ambition to help other allergy sufferers find a dermatitis-aware brand they can trust.

Together with my mother, an NHS dentist of thirty five years, we developed the best tasting minimal toothpaste formula that not only prevents flare-ups, but also polishes your teeth.
