Welcome to Superlements (“the Platform”), an online marketplace enabling third-party vendors to sell supplements, health and wellness products, cosmetics, agricultural goods, meats, fish, books, and both online and in-person courses to consumers and businesses.

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

1. Platform Role & Limitation of Liability

  • Superlements acts only as a digital intermediary, connecting third-party sellers with buyers (both consumers and businesses).
  • We do not verify, test, or guarantee the safety, legality, efficacy, or authenticity of any products, services, educational materials, or claims made by sellers.
  • The Platform does not manufacture, distribute, prepare, store, or certify any items or services sold.
  • All claims, descriptions, certifications, and representations made by vendors are entirely their own, and Superlements accepts no responsibility or liability for them.
  • Users buy and sell at their own risk.

2. Eligibility & General User Responsibilities

  • Users must be 18 years or older and legally capable of entering into contracts.

You agree to:

  • Provide truthful and current information.
  • Use the Platform for lawful purposes only.
  • Respect the rights of others, including intellectual property and privacy.
  • Not misuse the Platform for unlawful or unethical activity.

3. Seller Obligations: Product and Service Categories

Sellers must comply with applicable UK laws and industry-specific regulations based on the type of goods or services sold.
A. Supplements, Food, Drink & Beauty Products


Sellers are responsible for compliance with, but not limited to:

  • Food Safety Act 1990
  • General Food Law Regulation (EC) 178/2002
  • Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003
  • Nutrition & Health Claims Regulation (EC) 1924/2006
  • The Cosmetic Products Enforcement Regulations 2013
  • MHRA Guidance (medicinal claims)
  • ASA Advertising Code
  • Trading Standards Requirements
  • REACH and CLP Regulations (chemicals)

Sellers must:

  • Ensure proper hygiene and safety practices.
  • Refrain from making unauthorised medicinal or therapeutic claims.
  • Accurately label ingredients, allergens, origin, and usage.

B. Agricultural Products

If selling raw or processed agricultural products (e.g., herbs, grains, fruit, vegetables):

  • Products must meet DEFRA and UK food labelling regulations.
  • Organic claims must be certified by an approved UK organic body.
  • Pesticide use, soil health claims, and storage conditions must comply with environmental health and trading standards.

C. Meats & Fish

Vendors selling meat, seafood or animal-based goods must:

  • Be registered as a food business operator with their local authority.
  • Meet FSA (Food Standards Agency) requirements, including hygiene ratings and inspection compliance.

Ensure compliance with:

  • EU Regulation (EC) 853/2004 (food of animal origin)
  • The Meat Products (England) Regulations 2003
  • The Fish Labelling Regulations
  • Full traceability, origin declarations, and cold chain management.
  • No wild-caught or exotic species may be sold unless specifically permitted by law.

D. Books, Courses & Educational Services

Vendors may sell:

  • Print books and ebooks.
  • Online courses (pre-recorded or live).
  • In-person classes, workshops, or retreats (subject to venue and event regulations).
    Requirements:
  • Sellers must own or have the legal right to distribute the materials.
  • Course and book descriptions must be truthful and not misleading.
  • Courses must not offer unlicensed medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment promises.

Sellers must adhere to:

  • The Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008
  • The Electronic Commerce Regulations 2002
  • The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (if B2C)
  • If hosting in-person events, vendors are responsible for health and safety, insurance, accessibility, and local licensing.

4. Prohibited Content and Products

Sellers must not list:

  • Prescription medicines, controlled substances, or unauthorised medicinal claims.
  • Endangered or illegally sourced animal products.
  • Unsafe or recalled items.
  • Fake certifications, medical endorsements, or false testimonials.

Superlements reserves the right to remove any listing that breaches these terms or raises regulatory concern.

5. Transactions, Fees & Tax Responsibilities

Superlements facilitates payments via third-party processors.

Sellers agree to pay a commission or service fee, as agreed in the seller onboarding.

Superlements will not hold or manage buyer funds. It will though deduct the necessary commission.

B2C Transactions

Sellers must provide buyers with:

  • Clear descriptions, pricing, delivery information.
  • 14-day return/cancellation rights, unless exempt under law.
  • Refunds for defective, misrepresented, or undelivered products.

B2B Transactions

B2B sales are subject to individual agreements and do not fall under standard consumer protections.

  • Sellers must handle contractual, invoice, and tax documentation appropriately.
    Taxes

Sellers are solely responsible for calculating and remitting:

  • VAT, if registered.
  • Customs and duties, if exporting.
  • Complying with digital VAT rules for e-learning, if selling cross-border courses or ebooks.

6. Disputes, Refunds & Platform Involvement

Disputes are to be resolved directly between buyers and sellers.

The Platform may assist in dispute resolution but does not guarantee intervention or outcomes.

Refunds and return policies must be visible in each product or course listing.

7. Account Suspension or Termination

Superlements reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Legal violations.
  • Repeated customer complaints or chargebacks.
  • Misuse, fraud, or breach of platform policies.

8. Intellectual Property

Sellers retain rights over their own content and grant Superlements a non-exclusive licence to display and promote listings.

All Platform branding, layout, and original content are the intellectual property of Superlements.

10. Disclaimers and Health Claims Notice

Superlements does not verify or endorse any claims made by sellers, including:

  • Health outcomes from supplements or food.
  • Educational qualifications for courses.
  • Efficacy of wellness programs or natural remedies.
  • All claims are the sole responsibility of the seller.
  • Buyers are advised to consult professionals before using products or applying educational advice.
  • Nothing sold or promoted on this platform is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease unless expressly authorised under law.

11. International Sales

Sellers exporting products must:

  • Ensure legal compliance in the destination country.
  • Handle all customs, duties, labelling, and documentation (unless they have an understanding with the purchaser).
  • Superlements is not liable for customs seizures, delays, or prohibited imports.

12. Amendments

We may revise these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on the Platform and take effect immediately.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of UK courts.
